Bijapur: Sindgi town the local people noticed that a Pakistani flag is been hoisted on the location of the Tahsildar's office on Sunday new year night, police said.

Police was informed by the local people  regarding  Pak flag hoisted in Karnataka, police went to the town, about 60 km from here, and seized it from the flag-pole, SP Rajappa said.

An very angry crowd bombard stones on two buses and demonstrated a growing protest. though, police brought the circumstances beneath control, he said, adding the situation was now peaceful.

Police took some people in custody but haven’t arrested anyone yet.
