HUM Network outshines again at 4th Pakistan Media Awards 2014

Karachi, January 17, 2014: HUM Network has once again bagged the majority of awards 

in the television plays category this year, at 4th Pakistan Media Awards. Zindagi Gulzar 

Hai, produced by Momina Duraid, as was expected, was declared the Best Serial of 

the year, while renowned singer Ali Zafar shared the award for Best OST for the same 

play with Ifty for ‘Tanha Tanha’ for drama serial ‘Ideal’. Umera Ahmed was honoured 

with Best Writer Award for her work Zindagi Gulzar Hai. Best Director Award, not 

surprisingly, went to Sultana Siddiqui for ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’. Mahira Khan was awarded 

with Best Actress for her stellar performance on HUMTV play Shehrzaat.

It may be recalled that since HUM Network’s inception nine years ago it has been the 

front-runner in bagging all the prestigious satellite TV awards for HUM’s plays in all 

media awards held in the country.
