[Pakistan, 10th December, 2014]
After mesmerizing Pakistan along with 50+ other countries with her performance
as Hürrem Sultan in popular Turkish
TV series Mera Sultan [Muhteşem Yüzyıl in Turkish], German-Turkish actress Meryem Uzerli is
the cover face of Ink magazine
for their annual issue which launches in the market on 18th December, 2014.
Clad in a hot pink dress, the starlet looks refreshingly different from how we
are used to seeing her on-screen. Ink is the very first Pakistani
publication Meryem has given an
exclusive interview to.
Sharing
the upcoming Ink cover exclusively with her social network connections, the
Editor Fariha Rashed posted “I am quite proud of and excited about
this specific issue of Ink which is all set to launch in the market in a few
days. Sharing the cover with my facebook connections”. Meryem Uzerli
also shared the cover image with her facebook fans of almost 3.5
million, saying, “Thanks to Ink Magazine Pakistan”.
Meryem is undoubtedly a stunning actress, famous
as much for her powerful performances as her alluring looks. She has
delightfully bagged numerous accolades for her brilliant portrayal of the
younger Hürrem Sultan in Mera
Sultan, making her one of the brightest young stars of the Arab and South
Asian world. In her first ever Pakistani interview, she speaks about her role
in Mera Sultan, her personal fashion
style, her career plans and much more, in an exclusive tête-à-tête with the Ink
team.
Another
Turkish actor from Mera Sultan whose exclusive interview you can read within
the magazine pages, is the very handsome Mehmet Günsür who played the powerful
character of Shehzada Mustafa (Sultan's
son). As if that wasn’t enough, Islamabadi
heart throb Osman Khalid Butt has an exclusive chat with the magazine as
well, speaking about all his successful work thus far and his upcoming projects.
Other interviewees include French pop prince Abbas Hasan, author of ‘Devil’s Advocate’ Andrew Neiderman and American TV series
‘Switched
At Birth’ star Vanessa Marano.
The
exciting annual issue features a list of the Top 10 Pakistani Achievers of 2014, as well as features on how to
style for winters with tips given by top female celebrities, how to travel in
style and the do’s and don’ts of preparing Desi
Foods.
The
magazine will be available at all leading bookstores across Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Karachi. Don't forget to grab yours on 18th December, 2014 – there's no saying
how long they will last on shelves!
